You Were Taught How to Succeed. But Who Taught You How to Love?

You were taught how to succeed. But who taught you how to love?

You learned to work hard. Build a career. Lead. Solve problems. Achieve.

But chances are, nobody taught you:

  • How to choose a healthy partner
  • How to communicate when you're hurt
  • How to repair after conflict
  • How to create emotional intimacy
  • How to stay connected when life gets demanding
  • How to make your partner feel prioritized, appreciated and desired

So if your relationship doesn't feel the way you want it to, there is no shame in not knowing what to do. It doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with you—or that your relationship is beyond repair. You may simply never have been taught the skills.

Because a strong relationship isn't built on feelings alone. It also requires respect, consideration, emotional awareness, prioritization, repair and intentional connection.

And the good news? Skills can be learned. Awareness can be developed. Connection can be rebuilt.

If you're a high achiever who has figured out how to succeed professionally but wants to create a relationship that feels just as successful, meaningful and fulfilling, I'd love to help.

I'm Karen Millon, a Certified Professional Coach specializing in love and relationships.

No shame. No blame. With curiosity, awareness, skills and practice.
