Separate with Care
Separate with Care is one of Karen Millon's three coaching pathways — for those who know their relationship must end or has ended and want to separate with as much peace and care as possible.
Navigate separation with clarity, dignity and as much peace as possible. Sometimes the healthiest relationship outcome is not staying together.

When Separation May Be Necessary
If you have reached the point where you believe separation may be necessary, coaching can help you navigate the transition thoughtfully and respectfully.
You may know your relationship needs to end and want to navigate that transition well.
How We Work Together
We explore what happened, what you need, what you want your future to look like, and how to have the difficult conversations that need to happen.

Especially when children are involved, the goal is not to erase the relationship.
It is to create a healthier relationship with your ex—one that allows you to move forward with greater peace, respect and care.
Know you did the best you could to provide peace and consistency for you and your children.
No shame. No blame. With curiosity, awareness, skills and practice.
I know this path personally.
After a 17-year relationship, I experienced divorce firsthand.
And that experience changed the direction of my life.
My own divorce ultimately became what I call An Amazing Divorce—not because divorce itself was amazing, but because of the healthy, respectful relationship my former husband and I were able to build afterward.
My former husband and I learned how to co-parent with love and respect.

Client B — From Conflict to Peace
Client B is a successful law firm partner who had become deeply unhappy in his marriage.
He had fallen in love with someone else and was struggling with guilt, confusion and the consequences of his choices. With three children involved, he wanted to make decisions carefully and minimize the damage to everyone.
Over three months of coaching, Client B gained clarity about what he wanted and how to move forward.
He developed the ability to have difficult conversations without allowing them to become destructive.
Ultimately, he and his wife separated.
But they did so with far more understanding and respect than either had expected.
They were able to establish a healthier co-parenting relationship and move forward with their lives.
Client B eventually built a healthy new relationship.
Sometimes success isn't saving the marriage. Sometimes it's finding peace in how you leave it — and creating something healthier afterward.
